Obituary of Louise Ann Green

Please share a memory of Louise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Louise Ann Green passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack. She had shared 79 years of unconditional love, infectious laughter, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.

Born and raised in New York City, she was one of two children to bless their household. At the age of 12, Louise and her family relocated to Pequannock, NJ where she graduated High School in 1962. Her first career was with Federal Electric, which changed her life forever. There she met her best friend and future husband, Gerald “Jerry” Green. They were married in 1964 and settled into Rockaway to raise a family of their own. In Denville, she was a Medical Billing Administrator before retiring after 15 years of hard work at Morris Knolls High School as a Secretary. She was an avid Yankees fan and every day she would watch The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her beautiful granddaughter, Elizabeth who was the light of her life!

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her adored children, David Green and Paula Green; her loving daughter-in-law, Anita Green; her treasured granddaughter, Elizabeth; and many dear extended family and friends.

Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17th from 1 - 4 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 18th at 10 am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville. Burial will follow immediately at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
