Dave was our next door neighbor for thirty years. He was funny, smart, and genuinely a good guy. He lived a simple life. He was never one boast, put anyone down, or complain about what he didn't have. Dave had everything he wanted in life. He was a simple man grounded by the love of his family, his faith, and the NY Yankees in that order. He was happiest sitting on his deck with Bettie listening to his music and enjoying a glass of red wine. A simple man with a beautiful simple life.. Rest in peace dave we will miss you.

Still hard to believe. You were the ultimate friend, co-worker and family man. As I speak to your AT&T friends they all comment on what a great guy you were. They all have fond memories of you and how funny you were. You will never be forgotten; you will be forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend!

Uncle Dave, I miss you already. I remember one summer when you visiting Michigan. Several of us went out and played golf at Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township Michigan. After the front nine Uncle Dave was impressed how well I was hitting my new Ping 3-wood. After a few more holes he asked if he could try it. He had a nice tee shot on a par five. Then he hit my 3-wood and landed just in front of the green. He said “RoRo, I hate to tell you but this 3-wood is going back to NJ with me.” He didn’t take it. But every time I hit that 3-wood after that I thought of Uncle Dave. I know you’re already in Heaven. And I’m sure that you and Werner and TomAss are teeing it off as I type. You probably all got a hole in one on the same hole too. You were the epitome of a loving husband and dedicated father. Our hearts are broken, but you are now with HIM and living an eternal life of peace and joy. God Bless you Uncle Dave. Hugs and Kisses from Arizona. Love you Ro Ro

With sadness on the ground, there is music in the heavens with an extra guitar twang in eternity. Liturgy during my years at St. Bernards and even Sacred Heart were so enhanced by Dave's talent and dedication. But more than that was the extended friendship and humor I shared with him. My deepest sympathy to Bettie, Stephanie and Melanie and my prayer of thanks for the life of Dave.
