Obituary of Roberta G. Schwester

Roberta G. “Bobbie” Schwester (Fleming) passed away suddenly at her home in Far Hills, NJ on June 28, 2023, at the age of 72.

Born in Montclair,  she had grown up in Bloomfield before moving to Kinnelon where she raised her family and then to Far Hills, NJ 6 years ago.

Bobbie earned her Associates degree in Accounting and worked for many years as a financial controller for Package Development in Rockaway Township, NJ.

She loved many things most of all completely devoted to her family and their happiness, with side interests such as cooking, and watching cooking shows, planting flowers, and doing crochet as well as keeping her mind sharp doing brain teaser puzzles.  Her favorite times were the ones she spent with her family at her beach house in Cape May, NJ.

She was predeceased by her daughter Summer Marie Schwester in 2015, her brother Albert Fleming in 2003 as well as her parents Albert and Georgianna (Fletcher) Fleming.

Bobbie is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years Charles P. Schwester of Far Hills, NJ.  She is also survived by her loving children Roberta “Bobbie” Schwester-Sandrin of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Charles A. “Drew” Schwester of Bernardsville, NJ.  Her adoring grandchildren Madison of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Charlize “Charlie” of Bernardsville, NJ also survive her as well as her siblings Diane Fleming of Lawrenceville, NJ and Robert Fleming of Clark, NJ and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 6, 2023, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ n07834 www.normandean.com.

A funeral service will be held on Friday July 7, at 10:00AM at the funeral home followed by interment services at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
