Obituary of Nancy M Holland
We are saddened to announce the passing of Nancy Holland, who died on February 6th, 2023, in Camden, Delaware. Nancy lived a wonderful and rich life and got to see the age of 92.
Nancy was born to Earl and Mable Ham in August of 1930 and was raised alongside her siblings Alberta, Donald, and Margaret, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Later on in life, Nancy would meet her husband, Edward, and the pair started their family. They had 2 children Elizabeth and Tom that they raised in the Cedar Lake section of Denville, New Jersey. Nancy worked as a librarian in the Denville library; a position she would hold for over 20 years. She also loved reading, spending time with her many friends, traveling the East coast and watching her beloved Met’s games. Nancy spent the last 15 years of her life in her homes in Delaware and Florida with her longtime partner Ken Reisen.
Though Nancy has been called away from this life, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones, including her husband Edward and siblings, Donald and Margaret. Her memory lives on now through those she leaves behind; Her sister Alberta Briggs of Waco TX, her son, Tom Holland (Deanna), her daughter, Elizabeth Tabaac, her grandchildren, Lauren Ehlers (Brendan), Andrew Holland, Avery Holland, Noel Fortunato and DJ Tabaac, and her great grandchildren, Claire, Juliette, Charlotte, and Liam. If you would like to make a contribution in her name, memorial donations are being accepted to fund Macular Degeneration Research by way of inmemof.org
Public visitation for Nancy is will take place on Thursday, February 9 th , from 3 to 7 PM. A Funeral service will take place the following day, February 10 th , at 11 AM. All services are being held at
