Obituary of James Lawrence Flynn

James Lawrence Flynn passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. He had shared 88 years of love, wisdom, and laughter with family and friends.

Born in Passaic to the late John Francis and Jane Flynn, James was raised in Belleville. He proudly served our country in the United States Army after graduating High School. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson, becoming a Certified Public Accountant. He had a distinguished career as the Chief Financial Officer for McAllister Towing & Transportation in NYC before securing his place at US Eagle Corporation where he was employed for over 25 years before retiring as the Chief Executive Officer. James was a responsible, smart, private, humble man. He worked hard to support and care for his family and adored spending time with them above anything else. He will be sorely missed.

He leaves only joyful memories to his beloved wife, Miriam; his adored son, Jimmy; and his cherished grandsons, Anthony and Michael.
