Victoria Revolorio, “Mama Toya”, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 3rd, 1931 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. She migrated to the United States in 1978. Victoria was sweet, loving and full of jokes. She enjoyed being with her family, especially having Sunday morning breakfast at the local diners but most of all enjoyed the bus trips to Atlantic City.

She spent her afternoons listening to marimba, folklore music from her country. During Christmas time, she spent weeks prepping her famous tamales, a traditional dish. She is survived by her five children: Rosa, Lídia, Flory, Gladys and Hector, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family is grateful for her love and generosity and the sacrifices she made that provided so many opportunities for her family.

Viewing Services will be held on Friday, November 18th from 4pm to 8pm at Norman Dean Funeral Home, located at 16 Righer Ave, in Denville, NJ. Mass at the funeral home will be held on Saturday at 12 pm, followed by the burial at Denville Cemetery.
