Obituary of Marta Irene Bohoslawec

Marta Bohoslawec passed away suddenly on Monday, September 26, 2022. She had shared 54 years of priceless love, infectious laughter and unforgettable memories with family and friends.

Born in Morristown to the late Stefan and Christina Bohoslawec, she was one of two children to bless their household. Raised in the Indian Lake section of Denville with her brother, Marta graduated from Morris Knolls High School, class of 1986. She then went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Marta was a dedicated employee spending 20 years at Barba and Associates in Chatham as an Office Manager. Most recently, she worked as a Sales Representative for Alcoa Howmet in Dover.

Marta had a zest for life that was unrivaled. She was a phenomenal singer with an incredible voice.  Her happy place was the beach; we will be able to reflect on good times at Long Beach Island for years to come. Marta was a social butterfly and she thrived when spending time with loved ones. She was proud of her Ukrainian heritage and traditions that were passed down by her family. Although we are deeply saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her parents and other loved ones who went before her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loving brother and sister-in-law, Roman and Chrissy; her adored nephews, Ryan and Zac; and many more dear family and friends.
