Coach Vic,
I know you’ve move on and I am sorry I didn’t get to say thank you beforehand. I can’t express how much your guidance and support has meant to me. All these years later, and far after my hockey career ended, I still reflect on the life lessons you imparted to me and can’t express how much I appreciate having a role model like you in my life. You always believed in me and gave me the confidence I needed to be the best I could be on and off the ice. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the things you taught me extended so far beyond the game of hockey and I am thankful everyday I was lucky enough to have you as a coach.
To Denise, Alexei, and Zander:
I know there is nothing I can say or do that will relieve the loss of your loving husband and father. I just want you to know that he is truly a man that touched many peoples lives and his memory won’t soon be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Michael T.

Denise, Alexei & Zander, we are deeply saddened by the news of Vic “receiving his angel wings.” Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We are thankful and will always have great memories of Vic and our days watching the boys play hockey. All the miles on the road with Vic never missing a Cowboys game! Stay strong.

So, so sorry to hear. Vic was a great man, father and friend. Got to know him while coaching together and I have to say, between him and his family, they were some of my best years. Heaven must have running low on Kind Souls. You will be missed by many. Rest in Peace.

I came to know Vic, Denise and family through my sister(Carol Tomensky). At first meeting I was quite perplexed by them as their relationship was quite unique, but upon further interactions I realize their love for one another was a bond beyond anything I have ever seen. Their humor towards one another and the way they made you feel like family will be something I will always treasure. Rest In Peace Vic and may god give this family strength to carry on. Love you guys, Doro.
