Obituary of Ralph Henry Totaro Jr.

Please share a memory of Ralph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ralph H. “Chip” Totaro Jr. passed away peacefully at his home May 3, 2022, after a yearlong battle with glioblastoma.  He would have turned 69 on May 15th.

Born in Jersey City, he grew up in Hudson County and has lived in Denville, NJ since 1966.

Chip was a union electrician ‘extraordinaire’ with the IBEW Locals #102 and #581 in Parsippany, NJ for over 35 years before retiring in 2010.  He was well respected in his ability to analyze, design, layout and complete some of the most complex electrical installations throughout the State.

He loved architecture, the NJ Shore, collecting and lending out tools, and restoring classic cars like his 1963 baby blue Cadillac convertible. Chip could fix anything and devoted time to helping friends with their projects.

He was predeceased by his parents Ralph Henry Totaro and Rosemarie (Garito) Totaro, and his youngest sister Denise Totaro.

Chip is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Marianne Wysocki of Denville, and his loving sister Marianne Totaro, also of Denville, NJ.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday May 6, 2022, from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.  A Liturgy of Christian Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 7, 2022, at 11:00AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church 10 N. Pocono Road Mt. Lakes, NJ 07046.
