Obituary of Lauren Burke Shay

Lauren Burke Shay 12/19/1965-3/9/2022 

Lauren passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2022, at Morristown Medical Center at the age of 56, following a short illness.

Lauren was born in Jersey City, and later moved to Rockaway Township where she grew up. She graduated from Morris Knolls High School and worked in multiple administrative positions through the years.

Lauren is predeceased by her parents, Rosemary and Kenneth Burke. Lauren leaves behind her son Kevin Shay, sister Cheryl Babich, grandchild Kasen, and nephews Andrew and Patrick Babich, along with many cousins, friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lauren's name to your choice of addiction center or cancer research/treatment organization. Services will be private and a memorial  service will be held at a later date.
