Obituary of Edna Cino

Please share a memory of Edna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Edna Cino passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 19, 2021 at The Chelsea at Bald Eagle in West Milford. She had shared 81 years of infectious laughter, amazing adventures, and priceless memories with family and friends.

Born in Passaic to the late Edward and Stacia Polanski, Edna was raised in Clifton. After graduating High School, Edna continued to work her entire life until the pandemic in March, 2020. She held many positions at many businesses including Kearfott in Clifton, the Allen Ritchie Company, and Estēe Lauder, to name a few. She was a hard and dedicated worker. In her spare time, she was a talented ceramic artist; she even crafted an award-winning ceramic piece. An avid traveler, Edna loved to explore the world. Her most memorable vacations were in England, Italy, and California. She was an incredible story-teller; she knew exactly what to say, how to say it, and how to engulf you into what she was talking about, whether it was fact or fiction. Edna was also hilarious – from her unfiltered answers to questions to her one-liners, you couldn’t help but laugh. She was a phenomenal host and always decorated for every occasion. She was so generous and considerate, Edna never wanted to be burden to anyone yet wouldn’t hesitate to help someone else in need. She truly was one of a kind and will be sorely missed and forever treasured in our hearts.

She leaves a lifetime of joyful memories to her adored cousins, Patricia (the late Eugene) Arduino, Kelly and Gary Setters, Brenda and Roger Joinson, Amanda Joinson, Bradley Joinson, Elaine and Tony Mayone, Alex (Veronica) Kaplanovich, Kaitlyn Kaplanovich, Alex Kaplanovich, Jr., Kathleen Kaplanovich, Andrea Petricone, Carol Wlock, Mary Ann Wlock, and Janis Glowatch; and many loving second cousins and dear friends. A special thank you to Grace Hospice Care, who took such great care of Edna in her final weeks.

Memorial Services will be held on a later date to be announced. Memorial donations are being accepted in Edna’s memory to Grace Healthcare Services, 105 Fieldcrest Ave, Suite 402, Edison, NJ 08837.
