Obituary of Vance Fahrer

Vance Fahrer passed away suddenly at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ on November 11, 2021, at the age of 59.

Born and raised in Denville, he had lived in Buffalo, NY, and Flemington, NJ before moving to Alpha, NJ 14 years ago.

He was always very creative and artistic and used his skills working as a Decal Specialist at Creatist Enterprises, Inc. in East Hanover for many years before working as the Decal Department Manager for Northeast Great Dane in Hillsboro, NJ for 20 years.

He loved to ride and work on his many Harley Davidson motorcycles, his home was known as not only the local hang out, but a place where neighbors and friends could stop in and have their engines looked at and fixed. He also loved to go freshwater fishing, but above all else he loved to spend time with his family.

He was predeceased by his parents Harold H. and Ruth (Fitzsimons) Fahrer and his sister Juanita Auerbach.

Vance is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years Jessica (Pufal) Fahrer and his loving children Amy Fahrer of Florida, Vance Alexander and Charles David Fahrer of Alpha, NJ.  He is also survived by his siblings Wayne and his wife Maureen Fahrer of Mine Hill, NJ, Frank and his wife Donna Fahrer of Little River, SC, Harry and his wife Karen Fahrer of Denville, NJ, Brian and his wife Lori Fahrer of Little River, SC, Donnie Fahrer of Wharton, NJ and Marie Young of Port St. Lucie, FL as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Church, 830 5^th Avenue, Alpha, NJ 08865. Arrangements have been made under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
