Obituary of Robert Walter Bialek

With heavy hearts we share the passing of Robert Walter Bialek after a short illness at the age of 71.

Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Reading, PA, and Paterson, NJ before moving to Oakridge, NJ 55 years ago.

Bob was an Owner/Operator of F & B Trucking out of Riverdale, NJ.  He was an experienced and knowledgeable truck driver for many years and was proud to partner in his own business for 34 years. Bob was loyal, dedicated to his job and a hardworking individual all of his life.

He was generous by nature and a devoted father and friend.  He was an avid fisherman and spent endless summers on the boat with family and friends in Long Beach Island.   He loved to read and always had a pocket-sized book nearby.  

Bob was an animal lover from a very young age and had many dogs throughout his life. He often had a biscuit in hand for his furry friends, which earned him the nickname “Biscuit Bob”.    

He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Claire (Grabich) Bialek.

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Szeman Bialek, his loving children Timothy Bialek (Nadine Bustos) and Tammy Bialek, his siblings Nancy Kemble (Ed), Lynn Cochran, and Richard Bialek (Donna), and of course his grand pups Moxie, Milo, and Zoe.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday October 16, 2021, from 11:00AM to 12:30PM, with a Memorial service to commence at 12:30PM, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.  Immediately following the service, the family invites everyone to a Life Celebration at Cinders Wood Fire Grill at 319 US46, Mine Hill Township, NJ.
