Obituary of Robert C. Williams

Robert C. Williams, 69, of Myrtle Beach, SC formerly of Denville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1952 in Scranton, PA.

 

Survivors include his son, Timothy R. Williams and his wife, Angela Williams of Wharton, NJ; life partner, Kate Nichols of Myrtle Beach, SC; father, Leonard Francis Williams of Denville, NJ; sisters, Rosemary Luzzi and her husband, Daniel Luzzi of Denville, NJ and Karen Williams of Hopatcong, NJ; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gail Williams (Spiankowski); mother, Rose Marie Williams (Zabatta) and uncle, Robert Sabato.

 

Bob was a gifted carpenter and builder for many years. He enjoyed spending time golfing, repairing and playing the guitar, cars, and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He graduated from Morris Knolls, Class of 1970.

 

He was drafted into the Army during Vietnam where he served for a year and a half.  He then reenlisted into the National Guard where he served another 8 years.

 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 21, 2021, from 2:00PM – 4:00PM and 7:00PM – 9:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
