Nicolas and I were very sorry to hear of the loss to the entire Dickerson Family. My mom LT Harrison was a huge advocate and friend of Ron's for many years and he always treated me and my son with kindness, respected and dignity. He will be missed by us. He was a one of a kind good man who cared for others. He now sits in the palm of God's hand. Rest in Peace. Harry and Nicolas Harrison

My prayers and thoughts to the Dickerson Family. My first job was as a cashier in the old store and when the new store opened. Ron ran a tight ship but also knew when to look the other way. He managed an evening/weekend team that was made up of mostly teens and I learned quite a bit about how to work with others while building fond memories. He will be missed!

This is good bye dear friend of 80+ years. We built our igloos, competed for Children Day prizes. We each shared our turn as King of the hill and rode the bus to Boonton HS. We were college roommates and shared all the travails of raising Children. In fact you kept track of mine when duty took me elsewhere. All those years never too far away. Farewell my friend.

Oh! It was just yesterday that I was sending Ron, Marie and Jeff the dates for my MacDowell Recital Series, which they loved so much! Ron especially seemed to enjoy the string quartets! I will miss him terribly this year!
My oldest memory of Ron is from 1957, when I was a little girl living in a family of 7 in Mountain Lakes. My mom, Kay Zufall, would order all her groceries from the Dickerson Market, and Ron would deliver them. He reminded me of that experience when we first moved to Mt. Tabor in 1988. I treasure the friendship we've shared all these years!
Love and condolences to all the Dickersons,
Peg Roberts and family

To all the Dickerson family, I am so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was an amazing force in this world and will be sorely missed. He gave so many of us our first jobs, and taught me the magical combination of being a leader that has high expectations as well as benevolence and kindness. I have emulated his style throughout my career, and am grateful for his generous spirit. Peace to you all and may you find comfort in the many happy memories I'm sure you share with him. xxxooo

Heaven has received an Angel. I am saddened at his passing. I shopped in the store for 52 years before moving away. Ron always remembered my name. My family also shopped before me. I remember the old store with all those steps also. Rest in Peace. Peace and Blessings for his family and friends. Fondly, Joyce Maines
