Obituary of Gloria Ann Feeheley

Please share a memory of Gloria to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Gloria Ann Feeheley passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at The Oaks Healthcare Center in Denville. She had shared 91 years of unconditional love, infectious laughter, and amazing memories with family and friends.

Born and raised in Chicago, Il to the late Clarence and Emily Johnson, Gloria broke the mold when she was born. After graduating High School, she went on to earn her Associate’s Degree from Monmouth College in Illinois. Gloria made a very successful career for herself as a Teacher’s Aide at Oakbrook Elementary School in Oak Brook, Il. She married her best friend and forever sweetheart, Thomas Jay Feeheley on October 27, 1951. Together they had a beautiful life and shared many unforgettable moments. They raised their three children in Brookfield, IL. Once retired in South Carolina, the happy couple loved to go golfing together. Gloria enjoyed playing bridge and Mahjong, loved reading and volunteering. She was a remarkable woman, wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and dear friend. Although we are deeply saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her adored son who passed previously, Thomas.

She leaves only joyful memories to her beloved husband of nearly 70 years, Thomas; her loving children, Timothy J. (Jane) Feeheley and Karen (Dennis) Kebrdle; her caring daughter-in-law, Marcia Payne; her cherished grandchildren, Jessica Pye, Jackie (Michael) Doyle, Shannon (Jon) Rudd, Jenna (Steve) Kluxen, Michael Feeheley, Kelsey (Sid) Fowler, Caitlyn (Nick) Ollila, and Kelly (Nick) Van Blarcom; her treasured great-grandchildren, Kylie and Taylor Pye, Jamie, Eoin and Grace Rudd, Ryan Doyle, Adrian Fowler, Emery Ollila, and Beau Van Blarcom; and many more extended family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 31st at 10 am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown.
