Obituary of Kathleen B. Pike
Kathleen (Vialard) Pike passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. She had shared 76 years of unconditional love, infectious laughter, and amazing memories with family and friends.
Born and raised in Middletown, NY to the late Henry and Catherine Vialard, Kathleen was one of two children to bless the Vialard household. Kathleen was an incredible woman. After graduating High School, she worked as a Bookkeeper for Wells Fargo for many years before retiring in 1980. She married her soulmate and best friend, John Pike, in 1976 and shared over a decade of love together before his sudden passing in 1990. They also created a beautiful daughter together. Kathleen was a dedicated member of the American Legion Post #390 Ladies Auxiliary for 59 years. Although she was taken too soon, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her parents, and beloved husband, John.
She leaves only joyful memories to her adored daughter, Colleen Pike; her cherished brother and sister-in-law, James and Phyllis Vialard; and many more extended family and dear friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 16th at 10 am at Denville Cemetery, Savage Road, Denville. Memorial Donations are being accepted to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by way of www.inmemof.org to ensure receipt of your donation. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Kathleen here to continue to celebrate the incredible life she endowed to us.
