So sorry to hear of Roni's passing. My Dad, Edward Traczykowski was Roni's Uncle. He was Hattie's brother. As a child we often visited Roni, Bob and family in Rockaway. I remember always feeling welcome, going to the lake, wearing someone's wooden clogs and loving a painting of Bambi that was upstairs. In fact, not long ago I came across quite a few photos of our visits. It was always a treat to visit as a kid from the city. Hope all of Bob and Roni's daughters and their families are safe and well. Patty Tirella (nee Traczykowski).

Your mother was such a beautiful person. So many fun memories. To this day, whenever i hear a Meatloaf song i am transported back to your kitchen. Rockin out with Roni to the Bat out of Hell album. So many good times. Sad that you're gone but happy that you're in a better place now. Rest in peace Mama Illig. You will live on in our memories.

I loved your mom. She was so sweet and welcoming when we entered your home as kids. It was beautiful to see your support for your mom until she transitioned to be with your Dad. Prayers of peace and comfort for your whole family.

My Mom, Roni, Mama, Mu. She called me her buddy. I called her mother to the world. She would never hesitate to take in a baby bird, squirrel or any type of small creature if they were orphaned. Or even a friend of ours having difficulties at home. She would always make everything so special. From her meals to her table settings to always fresh flowers throughout the house cut from our yard. She always had the radio or records playing and was singing or whistling in the kitchen which would travel throughout the house. We shared the journey through recovery. We loved to cook together in the kitchen and we’d laugh until our sides hurt. I loved “scrounging” in antique shops with Mom and Dad. And boy did she love my Tommy who she also called “My Tommy” who I named after her Father. I miss everything about her and will cherish the memories forever. I love you so much Mom ❤️

My mother was so caring and sweet. Everyone called her mom. She was so creative and loved hosting parties. She decorated for every holiday right down to setting the table for Kris and I so we had a special breakfast before school. She taught me to be a kind person. She taught me how to be a mom. Stupid questions when I was pregnant with Kyle and had no clue! "Mom, can I take a bath or will it hurt the baby?" LOL. She used to have tea parties with Auntie, Grandma and Mrs. Laurie. Fancy tea cups and finger sandwiches. Holiday meals were fabulous. The annual Glogg party...classic. She let us have sleepovers and played games with us.. She let us have parties and called us when they were leaving so we could clean up before dad got home. She taught Kyle how to cook. He was always getting his nose in there and asking questions. He used to watch h her put on her makeup. He even tried. Epic fail. She loved dancing in the kitchen with Kyle and Kate! I miss her. I love you mom. So many wonderful sweet memories.
