William J. Badenhausen passed peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2021.  He shared 66 years of love and great jokes with his family and friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 18th from 3-6 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, Denville.  A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 19th at 11 am at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.  Donations in his memory may be made to the good work of the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack Meridian by way of www.inmemof.org.  Please share your memories here.  Billy’s family will cherish them forever.

Born on September 6, 1954, Billy was one of nine children to bless Robert and Bevinn Badenhausen.  He was raised in Summit and graduated from the Delbarton School.  In 1980, he married Sylvia Farley in Sea Girt, NJ.  They made their home in Rockaway Township.  Billy worked for Neuwieler for a few years and then started his own company, Corofin Swiss Products.  He worked hard and was proud of his business.  When he wasn’t working, he could be found enjoying Green Pond, the Poconos, which was an all-time favorite escape or being with family and friends.

Bill was always the entertainer. He was the funniest guy in the room and the world’s greatest joke teller.  His zest for life and for people was infectious and he had a knack of drawing people to him.  A true Irishman, he was proud of his heritage, he loved a good or a bad Irish pub and a cold refreshment. He was fortunate to travel to Ireland on a number of occasions and make wonderful memories there.

Bill was talented.  He could play the piano by ear and was quite musically inclined.  Some of his favorite artists were Bowie, the Beach Boys, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley.  He clearly had great taste.  He loyally cheered on his beloved NY Mets and made every day a special one.  Although we are saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is sharing a joke with St. Peter tonight.

Predeceased by his father Robert Adolf Badenhausen (1989) and his loyal pup Hans; he leaves beautiful memories to his Mother Bevinn Badenhausen (nee Ferris); his brothers Robert Adolf Jr. “Bert” (Elizabeth), Daniel (Diane), Peter, Thomas (Lynn) and Andrew; his sisters Cathleen Mazzarisi (Gary), Margaret “Meg” Kelly (Shawn), and Elizabeth Bender (Doug); his adored nieces and nephews Joseph, Tess, Sara, James, Jack, Robert and Christopher Badenhausen, Jessica, Maureen and Patrick Kelly, and Charles (Chelsea), Jane and John Bender; his great niece and nephew Elliot and Audra Bender; his former wife, lifelong partner and dear friend Sylvia Farley Badenhausen and many more friends and relatives.
