Obituary of Jozef Duma
Jozef Duma passed away at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ on May 6, 2021,
at the age of 74.
Born in Stefkowa, Poland he came to the United States in 1993, and lived in Wallington, NJ for 20 years before settling in Lake Hopatcong, NJ.
He worked as a welder for 25 years at Falstrom Company, Inc. in Passaic, NJ.
He loved to fish and hunt, but his biggest passion was spending time with his grandchildren.
Jozef is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Henryka (Wiszynska) Duma of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. He is also survived by his loving children Magdalena Duma and Marcin and his wife Joanna Duma and his cherished grandchildren Anthony, Sophie and Zoey Duma, all of Lake Hopatcong, NJ and by his siblings Tadsusz and Hela of Poland.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 11, 2021, from 4:00PM – 8:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
A Liturgy of Christian Mass will be held on Wednesday May 12, 2021 at 10:00AM at
Our Lady of Czestochowa R.C. Church 115 S. 3rd St. Harrison, NJ 07029. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester, NJ.
