Some of favorite memories of my uncle are from when I'm little. Everytime we saw each other he had a huge smile and a big hug! My father and uncle would play their acoustic guitars at my parents bbq's with Uncle Ricky always singing and he had a lovely voice! I'll never forget all the memorable holidays at my grandparents and how now he is once home again and at peace with his parents. I love you Uncle Ricky and you will be greatly missed, may you rest in peace.

I was so sorry to read about Rick's passing. Our paths have not crossed in many years. I believe that his father and mine grew up together in Sunbury, Pa. and that my parents were Rick's godparents I could be VERY wrong about this, my memory not being what it once was. What I am sure of my memory of Rick's laugh and his spirt of fun! We were the same age and shared a name and my folks would make the trip from Easton, Pa. to Oakland, N.J. once a year or so when I was young< then we lost touch. I moved to N.J. some time ago and last saw Rick in our local Shop-Rite. My condolences to his family, especially his sisters.
As George Harrison sang, "All things must pass away." Rest in peace.

I knew Rick since about 1990, when he helped fight Bishop Rodimer to a standstill regarding the closure of Neumann Prep, where our two older daughters were classmates. He showed me his heart, and believe me, he had determination! We met, we hit it off, and then I sort of lost track of Rick until about 1996, when he showed up at RS Microwave, looking for a job. Well, he had so many talents and we had so many needs, that it was very easy to have him do many things, all very well, things ranging from painting our units, to tuning our units, to packing, shipping...well, you get the idea. I will never forget the day I told him that he was being relieved as a filter technician (he thought I meant he was fired) and then being part of the joy that he felt when I said he was now the production manager! This was a job not foreign to him, based on his prior experience in management. Of course this job was followed by including the Purchasing Manager function, two combined jobs that would have been impossible to do at the same time for a lesser person. Rick was a very determined person, and his determination was part of his pattern of success in everything I knew about for sure. He was a great Dad to his kids, a great husband to Debby (they met here at RS Microwave), a wonderful employee, a fine musician (we had lots of music together at company parties), a great and totally loyal friend to me.
I will miss him greatly...

Rick,
Though you were my boss for a short time, I learned a lot from you
and wished I could have learned even more.
Your sense of humor is one of the things I will remember you by.
You always had a joke for starting the day!.
Thank you for all you've shown me.
Soar high and rest easy.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
