Obituary of George W. Reinhard
George W. Reinhard passed away in Denville on March 7, 2021, at the age of 70.
Born and raised in Roselle, he had moved to the Marcella section of Rockaway Township, NJ
42 years ago.
He earned his Associates degree in Electronics from Union County College, and then worked for 10 years at Bell & Howell before turning his part time job into a full time career by creating his business “Liberty Welding and Service” out of Rockaway Twp., NJ. He enjoyed designing things thru his art of welding, and fabricating.
George was a lifelong Boy Scout, Eagle Scout and Silver Beaver, he worked at Camp Royaneh BSA Camp in CA for the Golden Gate Area Council (GGAC) and the Winnebago Scout Reservation in Rockaway, NJ for the Patriots Path Council and was with the BSA in Rockaway for 50 years. He was also a member of the Marcella Fire Company #3. George also loved spending time on his 20 acre farm with his Labrador/Pitbull mix “Scout”, and his quarter horse “What a Trick” as well as his cats Amber and Opel.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Kathleen (McGrath) Reinhard of Rockaway Twp., NJ and his loving son George James Reinhard of CA and his brother Edward Reinhard of GA.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 12, 2021 from 2:00PM to 6:30PM with a funeral service to begin at 6:30PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
Memorial donations can be made in his memory to the Winnebago Scout Reservation by way of inmemof.org.
