Obituary of Cheu Sun Ung

Cheu Sun (Sunny) Ung, 83, of Denville NJ, passed away on February 20 at home after a long illness.

He graduated from Seward High School in New York City, earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the City College of the City University of New York and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from New York University with membership in Eta Kappa Nu International Honor Society.

Sunny worked for the Bendix Corporation/Allied-Signal Aerospace Company/Honeywell as a Manager in Manufacturing and Test Equipment Engineering for 32 years.

Sunny married Bery (Shio) in 1968 in New York City and were happily married for 52 years.  Sunny enjoyed taking the family to Yankees baseball games in the 3^rd base box seats, his bowling league, playing chess and poker with his coworkers, cooking, traveling and fishing.

Sunny was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and brother.  He is survived by his loving wife, Bery of Denville, NJ; his daughter Alice and her husband Glenn of Clovis California; his son Howard and his wife Barb of Whippany, New Jersey; his grandson Thomas; and many relatives and friends.
