Obituary of Anne T. Tate
Anne T. Tate passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She had shared 57 years of unconditional love, infectious laughter, contagious smiles, and priceless memories with family and friends.
Born and raised in Illinois, Anne had moved to NJ in 8th grade and graduated from Long Valley High School before attending County College of Morris. Anne broke the mold when she was born; she was a social butterfly with a heart of gold who never met a stranger, truly cared for all living things, and always remained positive. No matter what challenges Anne faced, she did it with grace, dignity, a smile, and an optimistic attitude. She loved horses, her many faithful pups, and all animals. She also loved to go hiking. Above all else, Anne adored spending time with her loved ones. The sun rose and set on her children and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her family; she loved deep and fiercely.
Anne had an amazing work ethic. Over 15 years ago Anne started her own cleaning business, The Detailers Cleaning Services, which is still thriving today. Despite the fact that she was taken too soon, the impact that she left will live on for many generations to come. Although we are deeply saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and watching over us from above. We know she will be watching over her first grandchild, who is yet to be born.
Her legacy of independence, hard work, compassion, and encouragement will forever live on in the hearts of her treasured children, Frankie A. Tate, Jr. and his wife Jasmine and Marlena Anne Tate and her companion Charles W. Johnson, their father, Frank A. Tate, Sr.; her loving step-daughter, Tanya Exmark and her husband David, and their children, Gabby, Aiden, and Gavin; her cherished grandpups, Sasha, Smokey, Jik, and Lyra; her loyal pup, Xena; her best friend for over 25 years, Dawn Turton and her husband Bill and their family; and many more extended family and dear friends.
All services will be private. Memorial Donations are being accepted in Anne’s memory by way of www.inmemof.org to ASPCA or 11th Hour Rescue. Please light a candle, leave a condolence, and leave a memory of Anne to continue to celebrate the incredible life she endowed to us.
