I was very sorry to hear of the loss of Pete I worked for him for approx 4 years in the Blue Room on the NY Stock Exchange I ran US Steel with Pete I loved him it was 30 years ago and I am now 58 years ago and still remember him well he is partly responsible for the man I have become today a successful man with a loving family many children I only wish I would have stayed in touch over the years but as time flies by and you get caught up in things you sometimes dont look back............ I have a heavy heart hearing about the loss but have fond memories he was very good to me and his employees and he taught me well .
I pray his family will be blessed !!! I know he is telling the newcomers at the heavenly gates instructions of how to do things properly, and from experience, I know they should listen to him !!!

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. I got the privilege of meeting him and your mom while stationed at the pentagon. Your dad helped me out with sound counsel and guidance in areas that I was so unfamiliar with. His great wit and humor made my tour that much better. He was a good man and has made lasting impacts on so many of us. I hope you find peace as time passes.

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Haas’ passing. My thoughts are with the family. I knew him through Brian in high school. Both he and Rosemary were generous and caring people. His life was well lived; contributing so much to his family and community. May he rest In Peace with Rosemary and Pete.

I had the blessing of meeting Sgt Major a year ago. He immediately enamoured me so I took him to dinner and had a great dinner with him. We talked about his family and life life in the Marine Corp. I never missed an opportunity to hug him and tell him I love him. He will be extremely missed, but he is at peace. Sleep sweet Pete you are loved and will be missed

On behalf of my family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Pete Haas. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He always showed true kindness, generosity and respect to me and my family. He will be sorely missed. I take comfort in knowing that he has rejoined his beloved wife, Rosemary, in heaven. God Bless you and keep you in his loving arms.

We shared so many happy times together especially at LBI and with Lawrence at JI. What a kind man, such great spirits and always such a gentleman. We miss you so much already! May God bless you with all our love, Peggy and David Peasback.

Simper Fi, Pete. I’m sure George Wilson has many more stories to tell you. You were such a distinguished gentleman, and kind to everyone. The world is emptier without you in it. May God give peace and eternal rest to you.
