Obituary of Virginia May Abline
Virginia May “Ginny” Abline (Severn) passed away on December 1, 2020, at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center in Hackettstown, NJ.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA she had spent most of her life in Parsippany, NJ before moving to Hackettstown, NJ 2 years ago.
Ginny worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant for the Morris County Mosquito Commission before retiring.
She was known for her good sense of humor, enjoyed going to the casino, going out to dinner, and many good times with her dear friend Sonny.
Ginny was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Fred Abline in 2017.
She is survived by her loving sons Rick and Donna, Bob and Kathy and Bill and Sue. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ricky, Erin, Katie, Robb, Sarah, Matthew, Kristin, Bobby and Brielle, as well as her great grandchildren Brooke, Audrey and Kaylee. As well her sister Jackie and her husband John Hynes.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 4, 2020, from 3PM – 7PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 5, 2020, at 10AM at Restland Memorial Park Chapel 77 DeForrest Avenue East Hanover, NJ 07936. Entombment services will be private.
