I just heard about Mark's passing. I only knew Mark when we were kids hanging out at Gervan and Evelyn's house in Ottawa,Ontario and on the farm in Oxford. Even back then he was funny and kind and fun to be around. We played cards and sang a lot Rod Stewart tunes like "Do ya think I'm sexy" and "Infatuation" because he would tease me that Rod was a long lost uncle of mine. He also convinced me that there is no sport as great as tennis! I still remember his top reasons for making tennis a priority. ha ha I lost of track of Mark as we grew up in different families and different places. I was so happy to see pictures of an obviously loving and joyful life with his wife and beautiful kids. I wish you all the sweetest of everlasting memories to soothe the pain and God's love to fill your hearts with peace.
I also send condolences on behalf my family (mostly in Canada)

We are so incredibly shocked and saddened to hear this devastating news. Mark was such a kind soul. I don’t think we ever saw him without a smile on his face beaming with obvious love and devotion for his wife and pride for his children. He will be greatly missed. Please reach out if you need anything at all. We are just down the street.

Mark was my supervisor back in Newark Airport. I can say that he earn the respect from everyone around him with his work ethic and dedication. He was very caring and kind of the people that reported to him. I'm glad to say that I had the opportunity to work with him. He will be dearly missed.
Rest in peace Mark Stevenson.
