Obituary of Cyril E. Bindas
Cyril E. Bindas, 92, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Care One at Morris in Parsippany.
Born and raised in Boonton to the late Michael and Anna, Cyril was one of eleven children to bless the Bindas household. Cyril served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a hard worker and made a successful career for himself as a Carpenter; he built many homes in Morris County before retiring in 2003. Cyril has been a member of the Boonton Sokol Lodge 32 for countless years. He will be sorely missed.
Predeceased by his wife, Mary Louise and his daughter, Joann, his parents and nine siblings, he is survived by his children, Patricia Ritz and her husband Gregory of Port Charlotte, FL, Carol Kolich and her husband Richard of Rockaway Twp., Judith Bindas of Boonton, and Jennifer McMonagle and her husband Robert; his grandchildren, Heather McGee and her husband Douglas Schauble, Anthony Ritz and his wife Angel, and Christine Kolich; his great-grandchildren, James and Jemma Schauble and Michael Ritz; his brother, Paul Bindas and his wife Tassie; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th from 4 – 6 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 14th at 11 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 910 Birch St, Boonton, NJ 07005. Donations are being accepted in Cyril's name to Boonton Sokol Lodge 32, 301 Pine St., Boonton, NJ 07005. Please leave a condolence for his family to cherish.
