Dominick was one of my teachers at the PSE&G Edison training center. We hit it off right away. He taught me so much about many aspects of the job. Many years later we ended up working together in the Plainfield Gas shop and picked up right where we left off. We always talked about going to the Englishtown flea market together because he always told me what great deals he would find there. Unfortunately, we never got together due to me living over an hour away. I wish we had, because I know we would’ve had a blast. He’s is very missed. My condolences to his family and friends. God bless.

Thoughts and prayers to the family. Dominick and I worked together, In the early 1990’s, at the Denville Police Department. We were also both MCHS alumni. We would always have some great laughs while we were relieving each other from our respective shifts. Rest In Peace my old friend!

Our deepest sympathy for the family. We only knew Dominick a short while. But we became fast friends. He lived life the way he wanted to and with such passion. He soon became like family to us all. He will be missed ❤️

Antoinette and Dominick,
I'm at a loss for words and I know your hearts are broken. Even though Dom and I were only married a short time I treasure the time we had together. We reconnected some years later and we made our peace. We stayed friends and stayed connected. He always told me how the family was doing when we talked and when spoke of the both of you I could hear it in his voice that he was all lit up inside. Dom will forever be in my heart as you will be also. Please accept my condolences and prayers.

Until now I have been at a loss for words, but I cannot let another day go by without sharing my dedication and honor to my ex husband, friend and most importantly father of our son Dom III. From the day I met you Dominick in 1991, you lit up my life with such laughter and excitement. We immediately enjoyed our very unique sense of humor and made sure that we talked on the phone for hours and hours daily, we were always told how cute we looked together and your fear of pda was instantly cured. Your sense of adventure was exactly what I needed and there was never a dull moment. When I met your family, I was treated like a daughter, sister and granddaughter without hesitation. I never met a more loving family and the memories I hold forever in my heart and when we married it only got better creating our perfect son together. We shared so many laughs and tears together, even though eventually we divorced, we never lost contact. We spoke of our past mistakes and how young and naive we were, but never lost our dedication to each other, our new love for one another and our devotion as parents. Through it all, we remained friends and for that I am eternally grateful!
To Nana and Pop, please know how very much your son loved you, he spoke of you everyday, throughout the day, how he wanted to make you both so proud and how he loved having the 3 Dominick legacy. He felt comforted and secure in your presence and he knew how much you loved him. Do not ever for a minute doubt that you could have made him feel any more loved than you did. You were the best parents and In-laws and are still the best parents and Grandparents!
To Debbie, I never saw such a beautiful bond between a brother and sister. Your brother was always looking out for you, but enjoyed just being with you and Dave. We shared so many laughs together and till this day, I hold tight to them all. You were a light to your brother and made his life better than you could imagine.
To our son Dom III, #1 your dad was most proud of you. He lit up when he held you. Your dad worked endlessly to make sure we had everything we needed so I could stay home with you. He was selfless when it came to you and he did so much behind the scenes that you never knew to ensure that you grew into the man you are today. We spoke often about how proud we are, your dad was sometimes tough but that made up for me being too soft, it was a perfect balance. You need to know that your father loved you beyond words and he shaped you into who you are today.
So to you Dominick Jr., my ex husband, my son's father, my friend make them laugh in Paradise like you did on earth. I thank you for the years of laughter and love, for all the great memories and mostly thank you for the best gift you could have ever given me, our son, Dom III I promise to share memories with him and to make sure he continues on the right path. I will forever hold your love in my heart!

Erik, Dina and I send our condolences to the Bartenope family. It was a shock to see the announcement and so very sad to think of someone so young leaving us. We have fond memories of Dominick on Whitman Drive, especially when my mother was baking...the boys would sit on her stools and wait for her Latvian goodies to come out of the oven. May happy memories ease your pain.

I had worked for Frigidaire in 1976, I became a Senior Technician when Nick started to work there. As I moved on to other jobs we hooked up again at Maytag where we worked together again. Back in the early 2003 I came to PSEG soon afterward Nick also came over to PSEG. We were always talking and texting each other and shared a friendship over the years. I will miss you my friend and keep you in my prayers.

Dominick Jr, when you married my sister, Gerise, I was so thrilled. I remember she came home from your first date telling me all the funny things that happened. I remember thinking who has that much fun feeding the ducks? Well, it turns out Dominick you are just a funny guy who would light up any room was just your smile. Dominick the third is the most gentle, caring, concerned, determined, loving young man I have ever met. I know how PROUD I am of him and I'm his aunt. You both raised him to be productive member of society and yet he is respectful and hard-working.When I would ask them how his dad was doing he would always have something positive to say and you could see how proud he was of you. You were BOTH always so full of pride for one another and the love that you share is indescribable. The Law may say otherwise but Dominick Junior you will always forever be part of our family. Your blood flows through Dominick lll and I'm reminded of you whenever I see Dominick's smile. You have always been wonderful to me and I will miss chatting with you on Facebook or seeing pictures you put up... But just knowing that you are in no pain and you're no longer suffering comforts me. I pray for your family your mom and dad your sister and Dave and your wife, that they are able to find they strength needed to get through every second of this troubling time. We will never forget you or your family. Your memory will never be forgotten. Litte Dom will know every story about his amazing dad. Never fear, Dom will have all of us to guide and protect him. You'll always be his dad and we will forever honor your wonderful title. Hope those fish are biting up in heaven.with all our love, Mary&Gavin Schworn

I met Nick at PSEG. He was one of my instructors in the beginning phases of my training, years later in an advanced phase, then he moved to a shop where I chose to move to and he was then my direct supervisor. He was a real funny guy, nothing bothered him, he would just put his hands up and shrug his shoulders and talked us all down into taking easy and not letting the craziness of our jobs get the best of us. He was quick to share stories and always make you laugh. My condolences to the family and close friends for his loss. Although he will always be remembered, he has left a lasting impression on all of us. Rest In Peace brother, keep looking out for us here and whisper some technical advice when you get a chance, we’ll mis you.
