Mary was probably the kindest and most thoughtful person I had the pleasure of knowing. Although it has been many years since our paths have crossed, I have never forgotten her. I’ll always remember the extraordinary love and compassion and caring she showed to her mother when her mother became ill. And I hold in my heart the picture of Mary as a radiant bride who didn’t let illness spoil her special day. I pray that Mary is now dancing with the angels and smiling down on us all.

Janet ,I have gotten so many comments, stories and memories of the good deeds that Mary did without telling anyone or wanting recognition for. Check out Facebook to see them. She truly was the best of us its literally where I'm half expecting to hear of a miracle ascribed to her. So many good deeds that I never knew about I am even more amazed with Mary than I was the day I met her in person

It seems I’ve always known Mary Catherine. Her smiling face is part of my family history. Our families always tried to get together and share a meal but when I became pregnant with twins – her mother’s love for those babies inspired us to choose Mary Ann for the first baby’s Godmother (Brandy) and Mary Catherine for the second child’s (Melissa). Alas, I am in a different state and don’t have access to those pictures right now. Anyway, we could not have chosen more wisely. Mary and her Mom became an integral part of our lives for the next several decades and when Mary met Eric and decided on a wedding date she asked my twins to be her bridesmaids. Despite health issues, the day was a beautiful one. Mary, radiant and in love, full of hope for a better tomorrow held a bouquet of vibrant bi color roses. The girls looked lovely in forest green. I will never forget how happy she was that day. At the reception she kept begging me to dance but alas my back problems prevented me from doing so! When Melissa became pregnant Mary and Eric traveled all the way to Texas for her shower. Best Godmother ever! Nor did she ever forget Brandy and my son Shawn – every year sending his children Christmas ornaments as well. A few years back Mary and Eric traveled to see me in North Carolina and I got to introduce her to the Blue Ridge Parkway. How she loved the breeze blowing through her hair, her beloved husband by her side. She will be so missed…………. Jeanette Glaab McSherry

I first met Mary when I went to Vo Tech for a job interview. She was the first person one would meet upon entering the building. She was warm, welcoming and had a lovely smile on her face. When I started to work there Mary was very helpful to me. In fact, she was helpful to everyone there. She had such a kind a generous spirit and always went over and above in everything she did at Vo Tech. I loved to see her beautiful projects. She knew that I loved lighthouses and gave me as a gift a beautiful counted cross stitch of one that I still treasure. Mary was a beautiful soul and she will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy and thoughts and prayers to her husband and her family. May you rest in peace Mary.

I’ll always remember when we watched wrestling payperviews, all the Royal Rumbles and Wrestlemanias, with Triple H and The Undertaker or John Cena and The Rock. All the times Mike and I would play Smackdown Vs. Raw on your TV or when we watched Wrestlemania 28 after I came home from Rehoboth Beach. How you were so optimistic and happy with an appetite for life. That you were talkative and outgoing, sweet and caring. The memories we shared are priceless memories that I’ll hold onto forever. The world needs to know how resilient and how strong you truly were. You persevered in the face of adversity that would cripple a normal human being by always smiling and lighting up every room you were in. That is YOUR superpower, perseverance. I’ll absolutely think of your name when I think of the word “persevere” for the rest of my time on earth, and strive to be anywhere near as strong as you were. You never let your obstacles define who you are. You had superhuman strength. You are so, so, so, incredibly missed and there is so much lost that we will never feel the same. Until we all meet again; may you rest in the sweetest peace. ❤️

Mary Quinn Trautmann I’ll always remember how nice and kind you were to everyone around you and how you never had a mean bone in your body no matter how much pain you were in throughout the years nobody wouldn’t have even known because you always had a smile on your face no matter the circumstances I think you’ve taught everyone around you a valuable lesson and that’s to have tons of fortitude and resilience no matter how much pain you were going through I don’t think me or anyone will understand how much you fought day by day I will never forget our wrestling conversations about what was currently going on in wrestling and who We wanted to win the match and watching PPVs and I still have the John Cena hat you gave me for Christmas years ago I will hold onto that possession for years to come If you can somehow see mine and everyone else’s messages hopefully it brings a smile to your face Even though we’re all devastated by this news at the same time we all know your not in pain and suffering anymore and that your in a better place may you Rest In Peace
Love,
Michael

I post this in Loving Memory of my wonderful Daughter Mary. I gained a beautiful.loving, and kind daughter when my son Eric fell in love with this wonderful person. Over the years Mary never changed her kind ways. If anyone spoke badly about someone, Mary would never speak in a mean way. Just defend them and find a reason to defend them. Mary herself suffered many health issues. Never complaining she made the best of what she was given. I wish I had half of her tenderness and compassion. Eric was so lucky to have Mary in his life. Over the years he cared for her and never stopped trying to make her well. His life is richer due to the time he had with her. I will miss her forever. Love her forever and hope we someday meet again.

I remember Mary from pre-school. She sat by me. I was MaryJo and she was Mary Catherine and we both had white sweaters :) she liked to play with my hair and we were together all day. She was kind and caring then and stayed that way her whole life.

Mary, I miss you so much, I'm lost without you. You were my rock and my sunshine and life will never be the same. Knowing that you are not in pain and able to walk and play volleyball again without any cares or worries is the only thing getting me through this day. You were the strongest person I ever met and the most thoughtful and kind human to grace my life. I will miss you every day of my life and never forget one moment of our life together. I live you, you live me we are a happy family...Especially when you add the puppies and kitties.
