I never met Rita Claire Plumley, but I know her daughter, Marion, pretty well. And Marion fought hard to get the best care for her mother, and from what she told me---that at times was not easy. Rita did all she could during her life an her illness to maintain her independence and her ability to speak her mind. It seems to me that she passed that feisty spirit on to her daughter, my friend Marion. Marion, thank you for doing all you could despite the perils of the health care system. I am picking am orange candle...a fiery sprit for a woman who persevered in her attempts to maintain self reliance to the end.
