My Uncle Glenn, leaves behind an admirable legacy professionally and interpersonally. His achievements levied against his lifetime struggles, are astounding. Yet, you wouldn’t notice those struggles upon meeting him...throughout my entire childhood, he exemplified the importance of perseverance, and sticking together through horrific times with laughter, love, and a wicked sense of humor.
Now, all i can see in my mind, is his big smile. The warmth i used to feel when I could make him belly laugh; His razor sharp intellect and wry sense of humor have been missed for a very long time. His passion for dressing himself and his children in matching outfits became an art form..

We had the privilege of seeing a little boy in a wading pool at my parents estate and watch him grow up and eventually go into the advertising business, first with his mother Harriett Ortner Gershaw (deceased) and then hoaning his advertising skills till he had his own firm. We always enjoyed his wit, his smiles, the interaction with his siblings, and what a joy he was at my 90th birthday celebration in January. Glenn you are so missed already.
Aunt Elaine and Uncle Joe Ortner.

To the Gershaw & Success Communications Family’s,
I was devastated to hear of Glenn’s passing. Although we never met in person, we developed a unique friendship over the last 7 years. It started with his first “never ending” sales pitch and developed into a working friendship I’ll cherish forever. From our shared love of Deadpool and Game of Thrones, to our often heated battles over politics (we were definitely on opposite sides of the aisle) and everything in between, conversations with Glenn were always witty, a touch sarcastic and genuine. His love and pride for his children was evident every time he talked about them, which was often. And to his “work family”, he admitted many times he didn’t know how you put up with him. This is an unfathomable loss to all of you.
Glenn, I will miss you terribly my friend. (But, I will still never vote for 45!)

To the whole Gershaw family,
My thoughts, prayers, and love go out to you all for the loss of Mr. Gershaw. He will forever be in my heart and all the memories that come with him. From marching band, to proms, and just hanging around the house together, he was there.
I'll never forget driving over and squishing the frog in your driveway, and then the next day when I came back he told me he had to hose and wash the driveway because of me :)
Much love.

Way too many memories to write here. This man was the guy everyone could lean on. Quiet and behind the scenes - he had everyone's back and you always knew it and felt his love. Love you so much Glenn.
