Dear Ma, At last you are at peace with God & free from all pain and suffering that you endured here on Earth. It will never be the same here for me, with you now gone, but I am comforted by the fact that you are in Heaven with God & all your family and friends now. It won't be too long until I join you, Ma, & it will be such a joyous reunion! I love you forever & may God hold you in His loving arms for all eternity. ❤ Camille

To my beautiful Mother, Camilla,
I love you with all my heart, always have and always will. We became closer after Daddy died because I always knew how very much you loved him and did everything humanly possible to make him happy, which consumed most of your time. Yet you were the best mother anyone could ask for. When we lived on Shawger Rd., you got Karen and I up each morning and we sat at your knees to get our hair braided for school. That was just one way you showed your love for us, there were many.
As the years went by and we became teenagers, your purpose was to advise, comfort and love, the greatest of these was love.
I will never forget all the many things you did for Karen, myself and Camille. I will keep you in my heart forever.
Love,
Laura

Dear Mark,
Our deepest sympathy is given to you and your family on the passing of your grandmother.
“Ginga,” as we quickly got to call her (too!), was amazingly special. She was always engaging, yet modest; adorned beautifully in dress and jewels, yet demure. We so much enjoyed our time in her company and were joyous to see her zest for living, especially after becoming a widow. This is when we truly got to know her. May you, when the time is appropriate, cherish your memories of her and with her. Right now, we know you are grieving. Love, Steven S. and Peter H.

I remember the times you and Grandpa Joe would visit us in Idaho. All four of us kids were so excited for your arrival and your stay in our small three bedroom home. Although I didn't get much time with you in the grand scheme of things, you still made an impact on my life with your healing, calm and genuine presence. I always thought your style was unique and I loved your sense of fashion. I know you are up there with Grandpa Joe looking after us all. Until I see you next, I love you dearly. Rest in peace Great Granmda K. Love your great granddaughter, Holly Beth

Aunt Camilla was such a special person. Whenever we would visit her, she made sure to make it feel like a special occasion, dressing up and being the consummate host. One certainly never left her home full of good food and good memories. The picture posted here is from one of our recent visits where Camilla's great-great niece was happily donning a small portion of Camilla's fun jewelry. With tears and smiles, we all miss her tremendously.

Dear Mark,
I extend my most sincere sympathy to you and your family at this sorrowful time. Ginga was truly everyone's grandmother and will be missed by many. Her gentle spirit and warm heart won everyone over immediately. She was always an absolute pleasure to visit with and her sweet nature was so comforting. Her arrival at Davis family parties was an event in itself! Everyone flocked to greet her and I know she quietly loved this much-deserved attention. She's now at peace above and eternally grateful for all you did over the years to ensure her comfort and well-being. Rest in Peace, Ginga.

Mark and Family,
We are all saddened by the loss of Ginga. We were fortunate to spend time with her at family gatherings and we were all endeared by her sweet disposition and easy conversation. One memory in particular brings us smiles. Our youngest son, Shawn, was throwing a baseball with Mark in his backyard during a family celebration. Ginga commented on how she imagined Shawn to be a good little baseball player, and commented "I know talent when I see it". Of course this made Shawn's day. We also recall the amazing jewelry she sported! What a fun lady to hang out with at a party! And we have been regaled with stories and sentiments Mark has shared with us over the year about his beloved Ginga. It is obvious that Ginga always has and always will hold a special place in your heart. What a blessing to have such a wonderful woman in your life. She will continue to be with you, always.
Love,
The Lavery Family

I’ve only known “Ginga” for a few short years (Through Mark), but it is a pleasure to have known a loving and kind matriarch who exhibited family values that I admire - generosity, politeness, and acceptance to name a few. These values are conveyed through the family – especially through her daughter Laura and Grandson Mark. It was a pleasure to have known her and she will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Ginga!

Q: What's a Ginga?
A: That's what we call my grandmother
The question and response that all of her grandchildren surely had down pat. She was always quick with a smile and a kind word. She never wanted to be trouble to anyone and I hope she knew that she never was. I love you Ginga and I will miss you.
Love, Scott

I'm so sorry to hear of "Ginga's" passing. She was such a lovely person. I was lucky enough to get to know her at all the many holiday celebrations at her wonderful grandson Mark's home. Easters, Christmas, Thanksgiving, summer cookouts. Ginga was always there looking beautiful with that fabulous smile on her face. We had some wonderful talks and she shared many memories with me. Our birthdays were a day apart, so Mark would, many times have a shared celebration. My last times with her were happy. A birthday and a time when Mark and I helped her with makeup and hair. She always wanted to look pretty, and always did. My sympathy goes out to Mark, Laura and the family. I will truly miss her. ❤❤❤

Mrs Konecnik was always so sweet and beautiful. I remember so many good times always laughing with my best friend , her daughter Camille. Mrs Konecnik put up with our antics and aklways had yummy treats and meals when I was there. She was a beautiful smart woman and passed that on to her daughters. Prayers and deepest sympathy to all of the family. I wish I could hug you all.

Thank you Geri and Bob; over the 30+ years I have known you, my friends all came to know and love Ginga. Some to this day forget or don't even know her name was Camilla, because they all called her Ginga! She always loved you and Bob, especially how beautiful Bob made the house look after Grandpa Joe died.
