Obituary of Carolyn Charlotte Westdyk
Carolyn Charlotte Westdyk (Parker) passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on April 20, 2020, at the age of 89.
Born in Hawthorne, NJ to William and Carrie (Hern) Parker, she raised her family in Bloomingdale before moving to Denville, Wharton and finally to Montville, NJ.
Carolyn worked for many years as a secretary and receptionist for Camm Research Company in Wayne, NJ. She was an active member of the American Legion in Little Falls, NJ for many years, she loved the New Jersey shore beaches and up until five years ago she was actively bowling in several bowling leagues. Carolyn’s favorite past time was spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years, Paul Westdyk in 1991.
She was also predeceased by her brother William Parker and her sister Marion Parker.
Carolyn was survived by her loving children Sharon and her husband Christopher Oldham of Stockholm, NJ, Gale and her husband Robert Dunham of Stroudsburg, PA, Kenneth and his wife Debbie Westdyk of Ohio, Craig and his wife Debbie Westdyk of Hopatcong, NJ, and Donald and his wife Donna Westdyk of Jefferson, NJ.
Her grandchildren Kyle and his wife Alyssa Kerstner and T.J. Kerstner. Zachariah and his wife Blasia Dunham, and Noah Dunham, and Nicholas Westdyk, Jessica Holster and Brianna Holster also survive her.
A private family interment will be held under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
