The Heart Of All Hearts

Stephani Elana Vernicek passed away suddenly on Monday, March 2, 2020. She had shared 36 years of love, laughter, and priceless memories with family and friends before leaving this world too soon.

Stephani had a heart too big for a single person. She glowed when walking into an already brightly lit room. It was this overwhelming power of life and love, something that had to be experienced and could not ever be explained. Yet, Stephani’s objective wasn’t to shine brighter than anyone else, it was to make others shine. She wanted to bring kindness to the world. Stephani will be remembered for many things, each one more than the last.  One of her many loves will always be, Arts. In which, she was capable of creating beautiful works of art from air. She enjoyed watching baseball & golf with her grandparents, poetry and cooking.

Stephani graduated from Mountain Lakes High School in 2001. Stephani pursued a degree in business but found her true passion and profession, when she became a mother. Although we are deeply saddened by her passing, we are all blessed to have Stephani looking down upon us. Our precious Angel from above will forever be missed and treasured in our hearts and souls.

Stephani will be leaving behind many who love her. With Ken, Stephani is the parent of an amazing 8-year-old girl, Reagan, whom she loved with all of her heart; Reagan returned that love equally. It will remain a bond that can never be met nor challenged. Stephani also leaves behind her incredible & life-inspiring mother, Alyson, her father Michael, loving brother Stephen & sister Erin, her amazing Aunt Lisa and Uncle Gary, her Uncle Dave, & Aunt Pam, their children, which are her 6 incredible cousins,  Kristina & Anthony, Melissa & Jason and David Jr. & Meghan, which were more like siblings than cousins, as well as their 6 beautiful children, Logan & Ryan, Devon & Dylan and Emma & Brody, as well as a close family friend, Teresa.

Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10th at 10 am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th from 3 – 7 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Memorial Donations are being accepted to help support Reagan’s future and education by way of www.inmemof.org. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Stephani here to continue to celebrate the life she shared with us and to keep her light shining bright.
