Nancy “Nickie” Theresa King passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020. She was 75 years old. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 10 am at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave. Denville. Interment to follow at St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Rockaway. Friends and relatives may visit on Friday, February 7th from 4-7 pm. Donations in her memory may be made to the good work of St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital. Please share your memories here, her family will cherish them forever.
Nickie was born in New York City in July of 1944. After her schooling she married her sweetheart William King and they settled in Jersey City where they raised their sons. She was an adoring wife and mother and cared deeply for her “three Kings”.
She enjoyed camping with her family and riding her motorcycle for many years. She was always keeping busy. She just never stood still. She loved her beloved cartoon Tweety bird and had so many of them around her always. If you knew Nickie, you knew she always had a cigarette and a hot cup of coffee in hand. Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and with her dear Bill once again.
She leaves joyful happy memories to her sons William and Edward and daughter in law Rosemary; her adored grandchildren William III, Samantha, Edward and Aiden; her baby Missy, the loyal canine and many more dear relatives and friends.
