Obituary of Frances Zoppi

Please share a memory of Frances to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frances Zoppi passed peacefully on Wednesday, January15, 2020. She shared 74 years of love and faith with her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 22nd at 10 am at St. Marys Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Friends and relatives may visit on Tuesday, January 21st from 6-8 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Frances was born in 1945 in Newark to the late Joseph and Filomena Silvia. She was one of five children to bless the family. After her schooling she married and settled in Bloomfield where she raised her children. She was a dedicated mother and doting grandmother. She was an attentive “Mimi” & “Nana” and a faithful crocheter, always making beautiful handmade gifts for everyone she loved. At the holidays you would think she was baking cookies for the state of NJ. They were for her family and friends and always had plenty to share. She also couldn’t get enough presents! She bought and bought for her grandchildren. She loved giving and preparing for the big day! Although we are saddened by her passing we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and watching over her family with love and pride. She leaves her children Gioia Degenaars (Brad) and Anthony Zoppi (Stephanie); her adored grandchildren Michael, James, Anthony and Emily; her brother Dennis Silvia and many more dear relatives and friends. Her siblings Marie, Joseph and Robert passed previously.
