Obituary of Richard D. Szajda

Richard D. Szajda passed away on December 23, 2007 at Kindred Hospital in Dover, NJ.
He was 75 years old.
Born in Grand Rapids, MI, he had lived in Chicago until 1958 when he moved to Riverdale, NY and then finally settling in Rockaway Twp., NJ for the last 38 years.
Richard had served in The US Navy during the Korean War.
He then went on to become a systems analyst at S&H in NY for 25 years, and then to UPS in Morris Township, NJ for 13 years before retiring in 2003.
He is predeceased by his brother Charles Szajda in 2004.
Richard is survived by his wife of 49 years, Clotilde (Giurdanella) of Rockaway Twp., NJ.
His loving children Douglas Szajda of Richmond, VA, Nancy Cook of Denville, NJ, Kenneth Szajda of Holliston, MA, and Kimberly Humienny of Cedar Knolls, NJ survive him.
His grandchildren Grant, Brooke, Stephanie, Jack, Caroline, Elizabeth, Katherine, Taylor, Ashley and Brandon also survive him.
His siblings Delores Foreman of Hinsdale, IL and Frank Szajda of Phoenix, AZ also survive him.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday December 29, at 10:30AM at St. Marys Church in Denville, NJ. Arrangements by Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ.
