Mrs. Szajda,
I just learned about your husbands passing and I'm very shocked and sorry to hear about it. I sat across the isle from Rich for the last 6 years of his employement here at U.P.S. Rich was the only other person I could talk to about Amtrak trains with because he liked them as much as I do. I don't know why nobody told his former department about his passing. My condolences are with you and your family.

I remember Richard when I was a young girl growing up in Grand Rapids. I am his cousin and was very sorry to hear about his passsing. I remember when he was in the Navy and came home on a visit and I remember when he brought home Chloe whom I met once. My deepest sympathy to all of Richard's family.

Dear Mrs. Szajda, Doug, Nancy, Ken and Kim,
Richard was my mother's cousin, and while I never met him personally, I feel that through Kim over the last few years I have been able to get to know him. My mother's memories of him are few as they are from so many years ago back in Grand Rapids and he was 11 years older than she.
When Kim let me know of his passing, I was so saddened. What a difficult time to lose a loved one, especially a husband and father.
You are all in my prayers and thoughts at this difficutl time. I am so sorry for your loss.
May God keep you close at this time and comfort you.
