Gil was my friend and we served on a couple of Special Forces A teams together. He always had a great sense of humor and was very professional in his job. We stayed in touch after we both retired but not nearly as well as we should have. I will miss him greatly as he was a good man.
Good luck with the new Team leader brother,
Chums

Gilbert will be missed by many of us. As we all grew older and distances separate us all our memories will always be there. The last time I saw gil was at a picnic at Freddy's -we all were so glad to see him and had a great day. As Gilberts cousin the olden days will be my fondest memories. We all had such a wonderful childhood and will cherish these times always. God Bless Nancy and Phyllis as they go throuch these hard times. Will miss you.

Uncle "Tickle," your memory will live on in many ways in my life-in the infectious laugh of Quin when I tickle him until he can't breath just like you did when we were kids; in the intellectual curiosity that Zach seems to have inherited from you; in the mischief that Sawyer quietly and stealthily gets into just like mom has told me you did as a child. Above all I will remember you as a caring Uncle who always had time to talk to us kids.

Uncle Gil was known to us, as children, by the name "Uncle Tickle".... he would make us laugh so hard we couldn't breath. I remember the NRA Christmas cards he would send...his avid interest in guns, and history...his intelligence, and interest in engaging conversations with fellow members of MENSA, his love for his cats, his hope to one day canoe the Yukon River...I remember he once recommended I read 'The Hobbit', one of his favorite novels. Although I haven't read it yet, I bought a copy yesterday to read, and remember...
