Betty Garofalo, 74, died on Sunday Oct. 14, 2007 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.
Betty was born in East Northport, Long Island, NY and was a longtime resident of Parsippany, NJ and the last nine years in Towaco, NJ. She was a Sales Representative for the Nu Horizon Co in Pine Brook, NJ for many years before retiring 8 years ago.
Her mother, Helen Brown in 2002, predeceased Betty.
Betty's husband Samuel Garofalo of Towaco, her daughter Colleen Pilipie and husband Stan of Parsippany, Granddaughters, Jennifer Hayes and Kelly Mastandrea and great grandchildren Nicholas and Ava Mastandrea survive her.
The funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ,(light a candle in memory of Betty on web site) at www.normandean.com on Wednesday Oct. 17th at 9:00am for a 10:00 Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Catherine of Siena Church Mountain Lakes, NJ. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday Oct. 16th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
