When Mt Tabor School reopened the staff was like a pot of stew. . .comprised of teachers and staff from all over the district and some who were new to the district. "Shiela" was the ingredient (must have been the funny bone!) that brought us all together. It was such a joy to be around her. It wasn't a laugh a day it was a festival! Whenever I think of Shiela I will smile. What a gift she was to those who were blessed to know her.

It's so hard to sum up the impact Aunt Sheila had on our lives. She was such a brave, courageous person and we could only admire her stong will to live. She was a "family" oriented person and with great pride you could see that today. Her eulogy said it all; it was perfect and I am sure she is smiling down on us. I pray God will give us the strength to continue remembering the good times.I know she is in a better place and though she will always live in our hearts she will be missed terribly.
Love, Ellen and family

I will miss Aunt Sheila's good humor and help more than anything else - what will I do with my Friday and Saturday afternoons - good friend, good cousin always available to help and best grill mate/cook. I'm at a loss for words. I love her
and will miss her and never forget her and i'm going to be calling the kids once a week just like she asked.

Coming into Aunt Sheila’s family as a young man, I admired the way Aunt Sheila and Uncle John were raising their children and the way they interfaced with the family. We often use a person that we relate with throughout our lives as role models and that is what happened to me. I remember Aunt Sheila as a strong vibrant person always willing to take the time to help or teach anyone needing assistance. She was a great inspiration to my teenage daughter Chelsea as she battled cancer. While they were both going through chemotherapy treatments, Aunt Sheila would take Chelsea off to the side to confer and Chelsea would always come back a little stronger and a little more optimistic. Everyone that knew Aunt Sheila knows that the Lord has prepared a really nice room in his mansion for her. I’m sure she is much happier than we are now that we are left behind without her. -Jim

Sheila was the smartest, funniest women I have ever met. The memories I have of her will make me laugh outloud forever. No one could write a poem or make up a song like Sheila. She was the life of the party. She battled cancer with everything she had. Her husband, children and grandchildren meant everything to her and the stories she told of all of them were full of love and laughter. Sheila, The Alliance is mourning your passing, celebrating your life and will never be the same without you. I will miss you...Marianne

Sheila,
You were true friend. Someone that I could always count on for an answer to a question, a laugh, great conversation, or just a fun night out with the Alliance. I will always admire your bravery and miss you terribly.

Dear Sheila,
You were the most courageous woman we knew. You fought a brave battle for 5 years without ever a complaint. You saw all of the holidays and all of your grandchildren's activities with a smile on your beautiful face. You have left us wonderful memories of our times together. You're at peace now and for that we are grateful. You will be missed by all who had the priviledge to be a part of your life. God bless you.
Love,
Carm and Joe
