I'll remember Al's great laugh and outgoing personality. He could make a new friend faster than anyone and loved both hearing and telling a funny story.
I particularly recall enjoying the Preakness Stakes with Al in a Georgetown sports bar a few years ago. He was in his glory, beer in hand, amongst friends and loving every moment. May God bless you.

Grandpa, how can i begin. You were always a huge part of my life and were always a great influence on me. You meant so much to me and our whole family. Your personality will never be forgotten, as it brought so many laughs and good times to so many people. I know that your are happy now up in heaven with Grandma and my father, hopefully playing a little golf with my dad. I love you grandpa and you will be missed forever. I will always remember your life and all the happy memories that you have given me and us all. RIP and forever love.

Al was our neighbor across the street in Denville. My children always enjoyed seeing him walk the dogs and he was always willing to let them hold the leash and talk to them about their activites.
One great memory we have of Al, is when my son's basketball rolled down the driveway into the street in front of Al. He raced down the street to get the ball for my then 5 year old.
Rest in peace, Al.

Funloving, caring man - full of life - Inspiration to us all.
I was so impressed with how active he was, especially after retirement. I hope we all can contribute as much time and effort to our community and our Church as he did.
