Leo Gunderman 46, Beloved Husband and Father Leo Gunderman, 46, passed away peacefully at his home after courageously battling Glioblastoma brain cancer for 18 monthsin Denville, NJ. Mr. Gunderman was born on May 9, 1960 in the Bronx, NY. He was raised and grew up in Paramus and settled in Denville in 1989. He was a self-employed telecommunications consultant. He was a coach for PAL basketball. One of his favorite hobbies was riding ATVs with his son and friends. He was a member of the G-Men Band with his 3 brothers and enjoyed playing the guitar. His unique sense of humor brought laughter to many. His dad Richard and his brother John Gunderman predeceased Mr. Gunderman. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 23 years Christine, his son Sean, his mother Eileen Gunderman, his six brothers, Michael and his wife Elaine Gunderman, Richard, James, Kenneth Gunderman, Daniel and his wife Deborah Gunderman, and Edward and his wife Terry Gunderman, and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com (light a candle in his memory) on Thursday April 19th at 9:00am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian service at St. Marys Church, Denville, NJ. Interment committal services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday April 18th from 2-4 and 6-9pm.
