Where to start...There is so many things to say about my grandmother it is hard to find a place to start. I guess I will start by saying that she was a wonderful, intelligent, strong woman whom I admired for my whole life. I have never met a woman who had so much love, stories and wisdom to share than my grandmother did. Her door was always open and loved when we all "popped in" to see her whether it be for lunch, dinner or just a quick visit. She enjoyed all of us and had a special bond with each of her grandchildren, children and children’s spouses. She would never turn anyone away no matter how many people you brought with you or what kind of problems you brought with you, she would help all of us the best that she could. Whether it be feeding us the best-grilled cheese ever, playing cards, or just chatting about life and what was on our minds we always found comfort at grandma’s house. She always knew how to make us laugh and how to get us to do the right thing with just one lecture or a glare. Well I think I babbled long enough now, however I will end on one note... She is never far away... you can find her in our hearts and heads... the wonderful memories live on with us and we must remember the great times we had with her... I know I will and remember always be strong she would not want anyone to be upset and crying over her... I LOVE YOU GRAM... You are truly the best now you are at peace and can be with Grandpa and Bucky... Give them all hugs and kisses for me. Love you more!!!!!!!

Hey Grandma, it's only me.
Well, another Thursday night has come and gone without you. I miss our crackers & cheese (as does Chelsea)and, of course, your "perfect" Manhattans. We talked about our day. I usually complained about work
and without fail, you told me more about my own children and their whereabouts than me or Jim ever knew. Although you were well aware of the kids imperfections, short-comings usually fell on the side of (bad) parenting...
What is Bill going to do without you? His best friend, lunch buddy. His confidant. Losing you has been very hard. Please let him know that you are close. I will do the same.
Sara is trying to be strong. She needs lots of hugs and reassurance. Jim is doing what he can, but struggling wihtout you. Trying to be tough...Please watch over them. I will do the same.
I find strength in knowing your love is infinite. (Tough shoes to fill.)
You taught me to love and love equally; to be fair and honest; dwelling on yesterdays bring the same tomorrows, so move on; oven-baking is better...
Most people consider themselves lucky when they meet the right person. Not only did I fall in love with the sweetest guy on earth, but fell head over "tea cups" for you and Grandpa, Dottie and Donna. Thank you for putting up with me. I am most blessed.
I'd be lying if I said no more Mahattans, best rest assured, none will be "perfect" ever again.
Well Grandma, I better go. Oh, wait a minute, Jim said that Grandpa has already turned his "ear" off! Poke him for me!!
Love you more...

Well what can I say that I haven't said before? Grandma was a fun woman to be around and everyday memories are what I have from her. I have learned so much from this woman. Grams was made from a mold that should never be broken, everyone should be as lucky as we were to have someone so willing to teach and share her thoughts. I love her more than I can put into words and know that I will see her again because she taught me how to get to where she is! Besides we have a rummy game to finish!

Mom aka Dottie's mom was the greatest Mom and Friend I will ever have. No matter what her children or grandchildren needed she unselfishly gave. When mom got sick she only went for treatments so we could get use to the idea of loosing her. Her only regret for leaving this world to join our dad was that she would not be here to help us. We are now on our own. However Dottie's mom taught us how. Love you more!
