Dear Dad,
It's been almost 7 years since you've been gone. Mom and I talk about you all the time. She just found the last watch you wore the other day. It was right where you left it - at your desk. And, IT WAS STILL TICKING! She's wearing it now! A lot of things have changed, but you know that.
We keep you in our prayers. Help us to "stay the course" and "keep the faith".
Love you forever,
Lee Ann

Mr. Lucas you were a mentor in my life. You taught me shop at Hopatcong in 1966 and I used to stop by to see you while I was at Sparta High School and Maine Maritime Academy.
You agreed to be a character reference for me when I applied to the academy and helped me on my career path.
You're not forgotten.

To the Lucas Family:
We will miss Al very much and miss seeing his smiling face across the way from our house. Sometime mere words just aren't enough to take away our grief. So we rely on God for help and strength in our belief. May He uplift you gently, take the sorrow that you bear, then comfort you with healing in the safety of His care.
With our deepest Sympathy,
From the Choy Family

Helen and Family, I want to extend my deepest sympathy for the loss of Al. As I'm sure you know, Al was one of my favorite volunteers during both my stints as RSVP director. He was one of my "main guys" in both SHIP and VITA. Al was always there for moral support, a kind word, a good laugh and never turned down a request that I made of him. In my many speaking engagements, Al was always one of my favorite examples of how volunteering keeps you young, active and sharp as you age.
I will truly miss him, he was one of the best reasons I love my job.
