WAYNE A. HOPLER died on Friday October 20, 2006 at his home in Rockaway NJ, he was 58.
Wayne was born in Dover NJ and grew up in Denville before moving to Rockaway in 1975.
He was a graduate of Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire class of 1972, where he earned a degree in Psychology.
Wayne served in Army for two years during the Vietnam War. Wayne also served the Township of Denville as a Police Officer retiring in 1996.
Wayne was a strong yet gentle man. He touched the lives of many people and will be missed by all who knew him.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife Rosetta (nee Pinkelman), his four sons Daniel, Eric, Sean, and Kevin and one daughter Caitlin. His mother Muriel Hopler also survives him. His daughter Melanie and father Arthur predeceased Wayne.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday October 24, 2006 at 10:00am at St. Marys Church in Denville. Friends and Relatives are invited to attend the visiting on Monday October 23, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue Denville NJ 07834.www.normandean.com.
