Wayne,
I am sorry that I did not make it to your funeral. I did not find out until it was too late. I had been wanting to get with you to talk like we had in the past but life always got in the way. I have a big family like you now. Who ever knew. I am now able to understand more of what we talked about having now been a father and having gone through all the ups and downs associated with it. I still have the letter you sent me after I greduated from the academy many moons ago. You had a big impact on my life old friend. You taught me the meaning of brotherhood and friendship. Help me walk the thin blue line until its my time. Rest in Peace my Friend.

Rosetta and children, I was so sorry to get the phone call about Wayne. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May you find comfort in your memories of your life with Wayne. I apologize I cannot return to NJ to attend the funeral, we just got back to Florida with Mom and Dad after handling Cliff's estate just last weekend.
