Dearest Dad,
I am truly blessed and very proud to have been able to have you as my Dad for these past 56 years. No one could have a better father than you. I am glad we had many happy times together. I will miss our annual Christmas shopping lunches together and playing Blackjack with you and Mom. I love you and will miss you forever. Your kindness, love and great strength will live within my heart forever!
Your Loving Daughter.

Dear Mrs. Hausmann,
I was sorry to hear that Pastor Hausmann was called to the church triumphant and give thanks to our Lord for his life, faith, and ministry at St. John's. I appreciate his pastoral care to my mother, Emily, for the many years after my father died in 1970. May our Lord bring you comfort and peace during this time of sadness.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His Saints." Ps.116:15

I will miss you Uncle Bill! I have very fond memories of you from my childhood, especially holidays at your house in Harrison, your Frank Sinatra impressions, and canoeing in Maine with other family members. Grandpa you will truly be missed by the family and me. We have had such strong memories. When you came to my hockey game this past Saturday it meant so much to me. I'm so glad we could win the game for you and grandma. When I was little I always used to sit with you in bed and we would make up fake funny names you would always make me laugh and I'm gonna miss that. Also when we would sit at the kitchen table and color together and you always would tell me "Gregory stay in between the lines". It always brought joy doing everything. There was just so many touching memories from you saving up your money in the change jar to take me shopping or drawing pictures of grandma. I will always miss you grandpa love you.

Hanging at your house with Susan when we were in grade school and high school. You were kind and upbeat. I remember you smoking a pipe, which I thought was cool. Will keep your family in my prayers.
