I can't remember a time when the McCaters didn't know the Hughes family. We remember Meg as a baby and I was lucky to see her as an adult and see the love she had for her family (and them for her).
We are all sadden by your loss.

Oh Meggie you don't know how much your missed by all of us. The home is just not the same with out you there. Even Denise misses you. Your smile, your hugs, your hand clapping and jumping up and down when you are excited are missed. We will forever miss you. Love all your friends at Old Bridge.

How appropriate to light a candle for Meg - she lit up a room with her smile and personality

Meg was a delight! She noticed everything and I still think she heard much more than she let on. Her Meg wisdom could be very profound and some of it continues to crack me up. Her fierce loyalty to Coca Cola, the American Flag and most of all her family was a joy. Thank you, Sweet Meg, for your life and your light. My deepest condolences to family.

Dearest Hughes Family, once again sadness falls upon us. I remember this picture of Meg so well with the hat, coat, and the red bangs....she looks gorgeous here. Thinking about the way Meg got so excited and shouted out my name when she saw me just warms my heart. The last time I saw her was when Marianne left us all, and Meg seemed so content with her new family from the home. I am so sorry that she has left this world, but now she is with Marianne, and they both have each other to love and to rest peacefully. May God bless you all as you say goodbye to Dear Meggie.
With tears of sadness and much love to you, Patti Carey Harris

Dear Lisa and entire Hughes family,
I remember Meg at the age in this picture. From the very first time I met her while being best friends with Marianne, she always called me Debby Ellie. I remember everytime I walked into the Hughes home Meg would proceed to just jump up and down with joy that I had come to visit "her". She would sit on my lap the entire time hugging and kissing me. She was just so excited to be hanging with the "big girls". Meg was one of those special angels that God sent for us all to enjoy her enthusiasm as well as her heart melting smile. I am so sorry to hear that she passed although I am sure her and Mare are lovingly in each others arms again. Peace be with little Meg. I will never forget her. With much love and sadness in my heart, Debby
